Affiliations Selection Code

• In the Structnet search engine there is a field in the vendor records called "Affiliation". This field is designed to contain the different construction group affiliation like AGC and others.
• Since some contractors belong to several different organizations, it is necessary for the contractors to be in several different positions in the field as a function of when they joined the system. Use a "*" before the organization symbol to allow for that group only to be recognized no matter what other groups that they belong to.

• AGC-CA A code was developed for AGC of California that will allow for the selection of members by District, Contractor type, Affiliate, or a subcontractor. The following is an explanation of that code.
• The format for the code is:
• (agc-ca,xxy,zz) is AGC of California, and member type "xx",Classification "y", district "zz",
• district 5 is 05, district 12 is 12
• Contractor types are:
• "A" = Affiliate
• AM is Affiliate main office
• AB is Affiliate branch office
• "C" = Contractor All types
• CB is Contractor Branch office location
• "cbh" = heavy and highway contractor
• "cbb" = building contractor
• "cbu" = underground contractor
• CM is Contractor Main office location
• "cmh" = heavy and highway contractor
• "cmb" = building contractor
• "cmu" = underground contractor
