The Structnet Construction Site for the Internet is the culmination of a dream held by David Black for several years. The construction industry has been his life for the past 35 years. The idea of a communications center was hatched in 1992 while acting as a labor / management consultant. The need existed, but the vehicle to deliver it was not readily available. BBS systems were considered, but the cost and limitations were too high. When the Internet became available to the general public, the last item needed to build an effective system was in place.
